- The Noise, Vibration, and Harshness Training Workshop is a special feature hosted by Prof. David Herrin, U of Kentucky, and Director of the Vibro-Acoustics Consortium. The workshop will be co-taught by industry OEM experts and will provide an in-depth technical review of a hydraulic NVH topic. The course outline is listed below.

TRAVEL RECOMMENDATIONS
Available airports for travel to Lexington, KY include:
- Blue Grass Airport (LEX), Lexington, KY. This airport has direct routes from select major cities and has a number of car rental facilities.
- Louisville International Airport (SDF). Requires a car rental or shuttle to Lexington. 79 miles from Lexington.
- Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG). Requires a car rental or shuttle to Lexington. 83 miles from Lexington.
TRANSPORTATION IN AND AROUND LEXINGTON
The CCEFP Summit will be held primarily at the Hilary J. Boone Center at the University of Kentucky. There are sufficient parking spaces for guests around the facility. It is recommended that attendees drive, ride-share, or taxi/Uber between the Boone Center, Saul Good, and hotels. CCEFP does provide bus transportation to Shaker Village departing 6 PM from the Hilton Lexington / Downtown Hotel. There will be walking tours of U of Kentucky research labs and teaching facilities.

Overview of Noise Control for Hydraulic Systems
- Hydraulic noise mechanisms, design guidelines, and simple mitigation approaches
- Impedance and plane wave analysis of hydraulic circuits
- Review of standards for determining speed of sound, source impedance, and transmission loss
- Application of standards to a test hydraulic circuit
