Members
Welcome to the member’s section of the Center for Compact and Efficient Fluid Power! Here you will find the following features:
Member Forum
CCEFP Members can use the forum feature to discuss topics related to research, industry and education, as well as fluid power in general. There is also a space for non-fluid power related topics where members can discuss broader topics.
Downloads
Members of the CCEFP will have access to resources associated with the Center. Documents include, but are not limited to: administrative forms and data collection materials, project review, poster, and abstract submission templates, industry-membership agreement, Annual Reports, marketing materials for research and educational programs, outreach activities and handouts, k-12 undergraduate and graduate level curriculum, CCEFP and associated logos, authorized photos, etc.
Boarding Passes
All CCEFP participants, including faculty, undergraduate and graduate students, post-docs, REUs, RETs, special program participants, industrial members and outreach institutions are welcomed into the Center by way of a CCEFP Boarding Pass.
A CCEFP Boarding Pass is given to every participant when they start their formal affiliation. The Boarding Pass will provide resources and materials relevant to their success as a CCEFP Member. Membership includes access to research, education, advisory board or committee workspaces using Sakai, the Center’s collaborative on-line tool; access to current and archived webcasts; availability of all CCEFP related policies and procedures including patent submissions, intellectual property, new project and budget requests, and the CCEFP calendar; internships and job opportunities; access to the database of CCEFP students who are interested in pursuing a career in the fluid power industry.
Upon leaving the CCEFP, members will receive a Deboarding Pass which includes an exit interview and additional resources on ways to continue to be part of the Center through the CCEFP Alumni Society.
Webcast Archives
The CCEFP hosts bi-weekly webcasts covering topics such as research, administrative and education outreach projects within the Center. The webcasts are open to all CCEFP students and faculty and to all CCEFP member companies. The webcasts are an important means for Center-wide communication and knowledge transfer about research advances.
Old "Members Only" Section
Access to the original member's section of the old website has been retained in order to allow continued uploading of publications, patents, member demographics and other features as needed. These features are not currently available on the new site. Phase II of our website redesign, tentatively scheduled for Fall '09, will merge the data from the old database with the enhanced functionality and features of our new site.
To access the original "Members Only" site, login first, then use the dropdown selection under "Downloads" in the member's menu bar that will appear at the top of the page.
