How Are Positions Filled?

Companies will post their summer 2008 internship positions at the CCEFP website beginning in fall 2007.

The CCEFP staff will contact engineering schools across the country in promoting the 2008 summer internship program and its posted internship positions beginning in the fall of 2007.

The database of available
positions will be available
for students to view.

Companies posting
positions will be able
to view the pool of
applicants at a secure
section of the Center¹s website.

Companies will directly contact
applicants who appear to meet
the requirements of the position(s)
they are offering. They are able to begin making these contacts immediately (so post your applications early).

Once they have identified potential candidates, they will typically follow up with an interview(s), either in person or by videoconference.

Companies offering positions will handle all aspects of the internship position, including dates of employment, salary, etc.
