Who Is
Eligible
to Participate
in the CCEFP
Summer
Internship
Program?

The CCEFP student internship program is open to all companies supporting the CCEFP. Internship positions offered by participating companies must be engineering-related, should last for a minimum of eight weeks during the summer of 2008 and offer a competitive salary.

As a member company in the Center, the CCEFP staff will help market your intern position(s) to a national audience of talented engineering students. This includes promoting intern positions to underrepresented groups in the engineering community. The CCEFP Intern Program requires that all student participants must be enrolled in an accredited engineering program in the United States, must be at least two years into the program and must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Your company will have access to a database of applicants, posted at a secure website. Your company will follow up directly with the applicants who are of particular interest, and you will make all offers of employment directly. (If you wish, the CCEFP will work with you to find a good fit, but of course the offer of positions will be yours to make.)

As a CCEFP member, there is no cost to your company to post an internship position, and no cost to students to apply.

Post your positions and applications ASAP. Internship positions are often offered and accepted months ahead of the summer starting date!
