Industry has backed the Engineering Research Center for Compact and Efficient Fluid Power from its inception. In fact, the outpouring of support provided by fluid power manufacturers, distributors, suppliers and customers to this Center is unprecedented in ERC grant history. Currently, 58 companies are providing the Center with $700,000 in financial support as well as in-kind donations and expert advice on a project-by-project basis.

Industry is actively engaged in other ways, too, through their seats on the CCEFP's Executive Committee, Industry Advisory Board, and Education Advisory Board; through participation in bi-monthly webcasts, campus visits, and the Center's annual meetings; and by offering to host student interns. Communications linking the Center to industry are also of key importance. Monthly newsletters, the Members' Only section of this website, and contact through e-mail and telephone assure that industry is kept up-to-date on Center activities.
