ERC provides training and opportunity
The ERC's vision for education is multi-faceted as we strive to:
1 train leaders in advanced fluid power technology and research through rigorous, specialized graduate programs and continuing education for industry;
2 ensure that all undergraduate mechanical engineering students are exposed to basic concepts of fluid power in core engineering courses;
3 increase opportunities for engineering students to gain hands-on knowledge of fluid power principles and applications through improved laboratory experiences and industrial internships;
4 provide increased education opportunties for underrepresented engineering students;
5 increase public and K-12 student awareness of the importance of fluid power, and the excitement and possibilities that new technologies of the Center will bring.
