ABSTRACT

Using pulse width moduled on/off valve for control can potentially achieve throttle-less control for hydraulic systems. In our research, a two prong approach is pursued: 1) A high speed rotory on/off valve is being developed; 2) On/off valve based control configuration, especially variable displacement pump/motors and control of actuators is being investigated using lower speed commercially available valves. |
