Project / Leader: 3B.1 - Prof. Kenneth Cunefare (Georgia Tech)

Title: Passive noise control opportunities in fluid power.

Project Goal: The goal of this project is to develop better ways to control noise in hydraulic equipment.

What is the problem?: Hydraulic equipment sometimes makes too much noise.  Then it’s hard to concentrate or talk, and you may have to wear hearing protection.

How to solve the problem: This technology would be used to quiet down noisy hydraulic equipment.
